So, today marks the beginning of my 4th week of exercising and eating healthy! Let me just give you a breakdown of what has been going on in my life, that has brought me to where I am today. About 4 weeks ago, I had finally told myself that I had, had enough of being overweight and unhealthy. I was at my heaviest point ever! Growing up, I've always been pretty healthy and average as far as weight and body composition. After highschool, part of college and then getting married, I just let myself go. =( About 3 years ago (I was about 50lbs over my ideal weight), I lost 50+lbs, was exercising, eating right.... you got the idea. Well, I got lazy and the weight slowly crept back on--and then some.... I never put time aside for myself. I was busy working, working, working, going to school and taking care of others. Now, I'm gonna start focusing on myself. I am determined to lose all the excess weight and keep it off for good this time.
So back to today..... I have been doing p90x and watching what I eat for the past 3 weeks. The weight is coming off and I am motivated to lose this nasty, dreadful 100 pounds. So far, i've lost 13lbs! I'm off to a good start. I plan on adding running to my weekly workout, starting October. I'll be posting up pics of my progress on my 30, 60 and 90 day mark. But, I don't plan on stopping there. I plan on doing 180 days of p90x and probably insanity or another beachbody workout after that. Wish me luck!
